| Having read this thread on Friday, how I laughed when I got done yesterday on the A7 just outside Pathhead - 78 in a 60 zone. To be fair, the boys in blue were very nice about it. Didn't try to lecture me and weren't bothered about my loud cans etc. Explained that due to fatalities they've been ordered to crack down. They also pointed out that if I'd been 10 mph slower they wouldn't have bothered. Fortunately they weren't on the Duns to Galashiels road about an hour earlier.   |
