New THINK! road safety advert with Duke

I have just seen the new THINK! road safety advert on Channel 4.

It features a red Duke 749/999 and quite a strong message, anyone else seen it?

Who's the guy on the bike a fellow DSC'er????

It is good to see some cash from the coffers being spent to raise awarness of diesel spills, vehicles turning right etc.....aimed at bikers.

Regards

ScottyB

I like that one, didn't portray the rider as a nutter for a change

That's the one Chris....many thanks.

My thought exactly electric sheep, make a change for us to be seen as half sensible, several good messages very well presented.

Yep, it's been around for ages, we've been showing it to CBT classes for months. Always gets a smile though and I somehow still watch it every week and each time I think he's going to hit the tractor.

I know what you mean WJB, every year at Christmas I watch The Great Escape and think...Steve McQueen's gonna jump that fence this time, he's had enough bloody practise by now surely? Every year for the past 25 years? He's gotta get over it soon, maybe this Christmas eh?

Now you're talking Jools. Why doesn't some smart editor just change it for us all. Just let's see him make it for once, get on the road, do a stoppie, a burnout and a donut and then wheelie off into the distance giving them the finger.......now that would make a very special film fantastic eh!
