Ch5 Now 20.30

Just caught something about a shoot out between a bike and a car - looked like a black Duke was involved.

Anyone see it? A 999 against a yellow car thingy around that circuit in anglesy. Bike won as well and currently tops the list of best times.

Stick that up yer Lambo and smoke it!!

I got the impression they have another shoot out planned though, where the bike would be less successful.

Cheers!

Bingo mate. I think that it would really have to be dependent on the track for the bike to get ahead because it really can't compete on the cornering and braking - it doesn't have enough advantage on the acceleration to compensate.

I'm leaning towards thinking that it was a marketing/publicity activity and that it was set up to make this car that will beat it later in the series to be awesome.

Heavy cynicism I know ...

Yes he was riding it rather well! Did you notice though that when they superimposed the car and bike together that the bike was significantly faster out of the corners, it took about thirty or fourty yards before the car started to gain some ground back.

Its repeated tomorrow at 7.30 i think although dont hold me to that.
