Fairing panels swap

Hi

Have 01 748r with older style fairing panels.

My question is... if I was lucky enough to find a set of the later 748r carbon fairing panels, would they fit?

If not could I simply swap the mid sections for the later 998,748 panels (the ones without the vents) I know they would fit but would this cause any unwanted cooling problems?

Seasons greetings

The 996R and 998R side panels and belly pan are carbon - there aren't too many out there for sale, but there are a few companies who can make these - QB Carbon for example, try a search.

I know that RipSnortingVeeTwin also does very high quality carbon - I don't have his number to hand.

Try a search on this board for Rip and see what it throws up.

Thanks for that i have just been searching, didnt find anything especially but this quote lept out at me...

"Besides that, there is a school of thought amoung "R" owners on this board that we should have our own "eliteist" section and not be mixed up with the everyday Ducati owner!!!!"

Recognise it?
