yep was in same boat today as well, riding around in the tin can looking for new work van saw eight dukes all told - three on m27 2x998 and a SSie-
a real nice black monster with a shed full of bling on it in portsmouth another monster in southampton(yellow) and three others on the A3 spent all day looking at crap then bought one (a van ) two miles from me doorstep so could have spent the rest of the day bimbling around the countryside on me bike!!

But don't it make it all the nicer when you do get some quality riding time?
Sapre a thought for pedro and twin fan et al who don't (as I understand from threads on here) have their bikes for the upcoming pleasant weather weekend.
Sheer torture it must be.
Re bikes whizzing past - my house backs onto the m62/m6 link road and in the summer when I'm trying to earn enough points for a day off, it's damned hard to concentrate with all them bikes flying past. You can always tell the dukes with the termi's. Makes me smile every time.

Ah well,I'll just have to console myself by scrubbing in some new tyres on the missus Monster this weekend.
