SAD DAY TOMORROW

Well the 749 has finally sold to a very nice bloke who is lucky enough to afford that and a 2005 cbr600rr track bike.

Have to drop it off tomorrow

New project will happen soon, going back to track only as road really does not do it for me at all! Tried to get back into it again, but after racing and 4yrs of track only, it all seemed a bit boring and dangerous.

Its been a pleasure being a Ducati owner and i will always remain a member as i will return to the fold.(got my eye on a 2005 damaged zx636 for the track.

The idea is to buy a cat D right off and convert it for track use.

That way I can have a year old bike and a couple of grand in my pocket.
Bummer really as if my purchaser was 2 days earlier i could have bought a 2004 749s for £2000!!!!

No thanks weeksy, if i can get a cat c/d for the right price and turn it into a track bike...the idea is to make a bit of extra money on top
(example: recent 2004 600rr sold for £2200 with body damage only. strip down and spend £500 on track body and few bits and sell for £4500 easy)

nice hobby with benefits!! you should do it yourself mate, after racing you should know how to put a bike back together

It's www.hbc.co.uk , click on 'view only' then 250cc+. They sold a 52 plate 998 last week for £2350! strip off the crap, sell what you can on ebay, then rebuild!

Good idea for skint fellows like us
