Which workshop Manuals would you Buy?

Hello folks. I bought myself a 749S last year and although I was an aircraft technician in her finest majesty's Royal Air Force (i can use spanners and can drink copious ammounts of tea), I was wondering what is the best workshop manual to buy. Had a look at Amazon but i can only find 1 for the 748. I had a look at the 1 that they use in Alvins but i don't like reading telephone directories. I have the tools including a nice big hammer. Where do i start??

I'm fairly certain you'd have to go through your dealership to get one?

Can anyone help this gent out?

I think that was the one that the techies use in the workshop that i looked at. You could lay founds for a house with those!! Anything out there with nice simple pictures, already coloured in?

I downloaded the 999RS04 spares catalogue and workshop manual, not that I have a 999RS04, but if you can download them from some dubious web site I'm guessing you'll be able to do the same for the road variants

I think Ducatis are such that you cant just use a manual or instructions like mfi cabinets!

I think there is a certain nack for a lot of the proceedures, that yes youve got to do it to learn it, but do you really want to be experimenting on your own bike.

I know what you are saying but it's really only nuts, bolts and pieces of metal at the end of the day. Why dont you bring your bike up to my house and i can have a wee practice on yours before i do mine
