Mag headlight housing mirror supports

Fitting a magnesium headlight housing to my 05 999S, cant seem to find if the headlight supports that go with it in the 05 accessories catalogue are the right ones or not as the book says up to 04, since the ones on this years model are wider to accommodate the wider nose cone. Anyone got any more info on this? Dealer suggested I use the originals and have them sprayed to match the colour of the headlight magnesium housing. Not sure I like the idea of that, but the alternative is to fit the 999R carbon ones for the 05 model, but I am not keen on spending 250 per side (yes thats 500 quid folks!!) for a pair of new ones. Looks like a trip to the paint shop methinks.

Is there a different in the headlight housings then? I'd of thought it was only the fairing/mirror mounts that would be different?

If you keep your eyes open every now and again the carbon arms pop up on ebay, maybe not in pairs, one went for about £17 a few weeks ago

Well looks like I will have to keep my eyes open on Ebay then as 250 per mirror mount is just toooo steep!
