Rectifier/Regulator mounting

The reg/rec has been replaced,bolted via bracket to the frame.No rubber mounting/well nuts----hard to the frame.This isnt standard.....is it.How should it be done correctly.

Not sure about correctly, but mine is behind the headstock, rubber mounted on a good size piece of ally - heatsink. I have also got the multi pin connecter (alt to rec) in easy view so I can see if there's any heat damage occuring.
