Performance Air filters

Ladies.

Ive been looking at changing the air filter...

I want one of those fancy K&N jobbers, as a kid i always had them on my cars, never really did anything to them-well it wouldnt to a 1.1 fiesta, but do they work on the v twins? my guess is that its a massive improvement...

Ive got a couple of options...

this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/DUCATI-MONSTER-SUPERSPORT-FREE-FLOW-AIR-FILTER-KIT_W0QQitemZ8024621080QQcategoryZ10448QQrdZ1QQcmd ZViewItem

or the little more expensive K&N option.

does anyone have any experience with the ducati one?

Cant wait... BANG BANG BANG!!!

Hmmmm...search the desmodue stuff.

I use the K&N equivent of the std airfilter - rewashable, works a treat.

I guess, Dynojet Mk1 and open cans +a dnyo session would be the norm when loooking at this kind of setup, depends how far you wanna go.

yeah, I suppose you always know what your getting with K&N...

Im slightly interested in the dynojet kit... maybe just stick with filter and pipes for the winter, then get her jetted and set up on t'rolling road in summer.

God, my neighbours are gonna hate me!!!!

If you are going to fit a K&N with an open airbox lid,it will definately need rejetting at the same time.
If you are going down the open cans/K&N route, you will need to fit a stage two Dynojet kit.The bike will run very lean without it and missfire like a good'un.(Just to add to the normal winter carb icing!)
Stage one Dynojet is for std airfilter and lid.
