what a nice month February is (NOT!)
Started the month off ok, had a burfday.

Dad went into a nursing home last week and has gone rapidly down hill

This morning I found the boiler not working - so no hot water or heating (due to leak from roof above last night flooding it out & soaking all the sparks in it)

and to cap things off, I've just had my redundancy notice today. Fair enough, I knew this could be coming at some point this year, but why does everything happen at once?

Sorry for ramble

C, a trifle chuffed orf today

They say things happen in 3's Charlotte, and by my reckoning that's 3 so you should hopefully have a cracking year from now on (I hope)

yeah, hope its all out of the way now.

keep a positive mental attitiude (hard at times, i know) and enjoy life. we're only here once.

you need to share problems/troubles, it really does help and you might find the light at the end of the tunnel from the unlikliest of sources. its always there somewhere.

All things are meant to be mate, as 1 door closes another will open.
I'm sure you will come out stronger and still smiling.
Thought's about your Dad.

Hmmm...

I know what you mean. Since October I've had a run of problems that have knocked me down flat before I've been able to get up again. Wave after wave of them, and I'm not just talking about lifes ups and downs, I'm talking about serious events.

The last of these was my Dad going downhill fast and dying a week before Christmas. Christmas was truly miserable with only funeral arrangements to make instead of celebrating.

Now, only just 6 weeks after my Dad's funeral I got a panic phone call from my Father-in-Law (who has Parkinson's) to say that my Mother-in-Law was having trouble breathing. I called the ambulance and she was rushed into hospital. She has pneumonia on top of being diabetic, having bad asthma and a history of heart disease.......

That's just the last two....there have been about five or six events before that which I don't want to discuss here.

Things will look up eventually though and you always have friends here to talk to.

Hope everything goes well for your dad.

Weeksy - compromise agreement is ok, not great, but not bad either - but deffo better than stat redundancy.

Jools, you have been through the mill mate, and understand about other non public issues too, as going through similar too.

Dickie & others, ta for being mates, cheers chaps. Sorry for having a winge tho

Hopefully the sun will come out soon for me to get out & enjoy a ride on her majesty
