After Sales & Technical Co-ordinator vacancy

Ducati UK Ltd, the wholly owned subsidiary of Ducati Motor Holding has a vacancy for a head office based After Sales & Technical Co-ordinator to provide assistance to our dealer network & Ducati owners.

Responsibilities relating to this position will include assisting the After Sales Manager in the following areas:

Communication with Ducati owners & authorised dealers - ensuring that all end user & dealer communication relating to technical & after sales is answered in an effective & timely manner.

Technical inspections - carry out technical inspections of motorcycles where required & produce associated reports in conjunction with the 2 Area Aftersales Managers.

Liaise with DUK Area After Sales Managers to ensure that all dealer visits and communication with our factory is carried out in a professional & timely manner.

Day to day administration of the Ducati UK systems relating to warranty claim processing / recalls / technical bulletins / spare parts.

Technical training – act as trainer as required and devising course content.

Events - attend & assist with DUK / dealer events as required.

The ideal candidate will:

Have proven technical expertise in relation to motorcycles with experience of Ducati preferred. This will include all aspects of servicing, repairs and problem diagnosis.

Hold relevant technical qualifications.

Be professional, determined and able to work under pressure.

Have experience of warranty & parts systems used by Ducati or the motor / motorcycle industry generally.

Be a team player, with a good sense of humour.

Will have excellent communication skills both written and oral.

Will have experience of problem solving in a customer facing environment.

Will be computer literate, with MS Office applications experience.

Reside in the area around the DUK head office in Milton Keynes or be prepared to re-locate.

Possess a full UK driving licence (car & motorcycle) with no more than six points.
