What is it with this club??
I see I've had my membership removed, my little members logo has gone, all because I'm a couple of days late renewing.

Now some of you might know, some might not, most probably don't care, but I'm in Poland at the moment and haven't had an opportunity to send in my cheque.

Luckily I got an email reminder to say I was going to be cut off, so I sent of a PM to explain the situation that I'll send my cheque in at the weekend when I get back, but to no avail - no reply, and I've been chopped. Can't see the DSC Topics, officially no longer a member.

Rant over
Martin

That's done it... I'll have to rejoin - don't want to be associated with being fashionable...

Well I've always been quite happy to be a paid-up member, but this makes me question it. I offered to pay by credit card or whatever, but never even got a reply to my PM..

Just a few points ...

The removal of the roundel etc on the website is done automatically now so it's not as though someone has done it with knowledge that you're trying to renew.

Also, the membership secretary is a very busy woman in her day job so simply may not have had a chance yet.

I know these don't change the fact that you're without your roundel etc but hopefully they might go some way to explaining what is actually happening.

I'm assuming you've sent your e-mail to membership@ducatisportingclub.com?

Not only am I without my roundel but I'm without access to the DSC Topics members only area. And yes, I appreciate the Membership Secretary is a volunteer and is a very busy woman and works very hard for the good of the club. Just a long way from home (feels it anyway) and bl**dy irritated

Martin, I think it's because there's going to be a secret ballot about whether or not you should be allowed to rejoin. There's a (previously) top secret system whereby an e-mail saying your membership was about to lapse and to vote in a secret pole. Most people don't know you so probably voted 'for'. I, on the other hand ...
