Cool VimoriRacing !!!

Just a quick heads up for anyone interested,

Appears that a mate of mine has just been had over by www.VimoriRacing.com

Bought some panels for his 998 and when they arrived, they looked awful. Very poor condition. Looked as though a 10 year old had made them.

Contacted Vimoriracing and they said send em back etc. Mate did this and then the company went all quite. No e mail, no phone number. ( appears disconnected)

Mate bought them from the vimoriracings advert on e bay. Their own web site is still working but guess what? Seems other people have been had over on e bay and the company are now no longer with e bay!!

Quality.

This isnt a sh*t stiring session, just a heads up for members of the club etc.

DC.

Vimori changed hands a few years ago, I'd previously had a kit for my 996 off them, well the guy but when I started looking for the 999 he'd sold the business on, so still trading as vimori.Didn't buy a 999 kit from them as they didn't fill me with confidence compared to the old boy running the show before, looks like maybe I was right to do so.

May not be of great help in the present situation, but if your mate needs a set, try http://www.hcracetech.co.uk/ he has just done a 998 kit for my brother, does colour impregnated or painted for well under what vimori would do, also the nose cone air intake vents are for the road bike not the larger RS model ones

Unhappy

I was gutted for my mate and felt awful at the time as I let him use my e bay account to buy them!!

Never mind, you live and learn??

Dear all,

Due to circumstances beyond my control, I have come to the sad decision that I am no longer able to continue at Vimori Racing. Thanks for all your support over the last three years, my last day is Thursday the 27th of July. Some of you have not just been customers but have become friends as well. Look forward to seeing you at some race track soon.

Cheers

John Pearcy
