Wink Mav's ode to the DSC
Ode to D S C

I brought a duke and looked around
To find a club where the people were sound
Then one day, by chance, you see
I spied upon the DSC
“Log in” it said and so I did,
Beware of posts by hissing Sid
At my laptop I duly wrote
Hi I’m Mav, I’ll get my coat and hat,
Shall I get my baseball bat?
A post came back a moment later
“Welcome Mav! What’s the matter?”
KB, I said, “How do you do?”
Weeksy replied “Who the **** are you?”
It was great in those days, banter and all,
Dibble, Rattler, Nelly and Paul

BDG, Mort and me talked late in the evening for a all to see
Some cheeky, some laughter and some quite blue
The days before our membership was due
We had such a laugh and sometimes tensions were high
But nowadays, and I say with a sigh
Sometimes it brings a tear to my eye!
What’s happened to the DSC?
Desmo Due made it sterile you see!
Before I go, I just like to say
Happy times we had in those days!

Good Luck to one and all,
If you’re ever in trouble, just give me a call!!

Mav

Mav, don't feel to down about change. We new blood are allways here for banter.

I'm only 26 but sometimes I yet find it difficult to accept that I'm getting older and older and things do evolve all around me...

Mary had a little lamb
She also had a duck
She put them on the mantlepiece
To see if they would ffff..........................

Fall off.

God i'd never make a poet.

Mav you surprise me with your poetry.
The banter has gone missing from here, having said that there is a lot of irreverant banter on DuN. All good natured though.

I'm not trying to promote DuN, just passing comment, i still seem to post more on here though.
