996 cleaning

Picked the 996 up on Sunday, 440 miles later, WOW! The R1 is staying but the Ducati obession starts here, cannot wait for Milan show...

What product do I use to clean the exhaust pipe work and the brembo calipers?

Cheers

I use really high grade wet and dry on the pipes of all things they come up a treat but takes hours to clean Brakes I use normal brake cleaner or maybe in extreme circumstances soak them then spray some wonder wheels on them but rinse off immediately as this stuff reacts like hell with the bolts... if you can remove the bolts first.

Mood: Found a CR250. Let the bone braking begin
take them down a local metal finishers (look in the yellow pages)
and ask them to polish them.
not recommended if you intend to use them in the winter IMO
you get water burns all over them.
but better than trying to bring them back by hand
