Assen, the Cathedral of Speed​, hosts the Ducati Lenovo Team for the first back to back of the 2025 season

The TT Circuit of Assen that opens its doors to the MotoGP circus for the tenth round of the season. A historic, fast and demanding track in terms of technical abilities, the only one to host (except in 2020) the World Championship in all editions from 1949 to today. Four Ducati wins here: in 2008 Stoner and Bagnaia dominating the last three editions ’22, ’23 and ’24.

In a state of grace and directly from Mugello, where he took pole position, victory in the Sprint and first place in the GP, Marc Márquez (two victories in Netherlands in the Top class for him - 2014 and 2018) is ready to get back on the Desmosedici GP on this track that, at least on paper, in the recent past, seems to best enhance the characteristics of the Ducati.

Winner at Assen in all the categories of the Championship and capable of making the difference on everyone in the last three editions, Francesco Bagnaia will try to further close the gap to the leaders after a bittersweet weekend in front of his home crowd at Mugello.

“From Mugello straight to Assen for the first back to back of the season. We get there after a great win in front of the Ducatisti and the Italian crowd. It wasn't granted, because I hadn't won at Mugello for many years. Also the Assen track, on paper, isn't one of the ones that best enhance my riding style, but here the Ducati has been very strong in recent editions. Let's get back to work, I'm in great shape and it's an aspect that we have to fully exploit”.

“The Mugello weekend left a bitter taste in my mouth. In the race I did everything I could to get in front and keep up with the pace of the strongest riders, but after the first few laps I no longer had confidence at the front and had to pick up the pace. We’re back on track at Assen, one of my all-time favorite tracks, where I hope to be able to make the most of all our strengths and get back into the fight for the top positions”.
