Post What a Sunday for Aruba.it Racing - Ducati! Bulega triumphs in the Superpole Race and in Race 2, Bautista always on the podium.

World Superbike | 2025 | R10 | Aragon (Spain) | Sunday 28 September 2025

What a Sunday for Aruba.it Racing - Ducati! Bulega triumphs in the Superpole Race and in Race 2, Bautista always on the podium.

The Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team made a significant impact at the MotorLand circuit in Aragon. It was an extraordinary Sunday for Nicolò Bulega, who achieved a remarkable double victory. Álvaro Bautista, after experiencing disappointment on Saturday, bounced back by finishing in third place twice.

Once again, the competition with Razgatlioglu was intense, but Bulega won the Superpole Race with a precise overtaking manoeuvre at the last corner. The pattern continued in the afternoon race until the halfway mark, after which the Italian rider built a solid lead that he defended flawlessly until the finish line.

Alvaro Bautista also celebrated in front of his home crowd. He was competitive in the Superpole Race, aiming for the top positions and ultimately finishing in third place. In Race 2, he found himself among the chasing pack until the tenth lap, which hindered his ability to challenge Razgatlioglu for second place.

Nicolò Bulega (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #11)
"I'm thrilled. It's a Sunday I've been eagerly anticipating because it's been a long time since I've won both the Superpole Race and the long race. I want to thank the team for all their hard work this weekend. Yesterday, we had the speed, but we needed something more to beat Toprak: we found it today, and my bike was much better, allowing me to make the most of it."

Alvaro Bautista (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati #19)
"I think finishing third is the best result I could hope for today, especially after the crash in Race 1. That was a tough moment for me to overcome, but since this morning, I have felt strong support from many fans, which has given me an extra boost. It's clear that I'm still struggling with the early laps due to the weight of the bike, but I'm satisfied with how we finished this Sunday."
