Just got back and it IS a pothole! Obviously my eyesight is not what it used to be eh DJ + Des........??????

It's about L12" x W4" x D3".

This made a major dent in the rim. As you can tell by the dimensions the pothole is not all that big either, but if I had been looking for it, my next stop would have been the hedge.

I have got plenty of good shots of it so I'll see where I get.

Rattler - top idea but knowing councils I want to get it bang on.

Not read part 1 yet but, for all their faults, MCN do a section each week on potholes/bad road surfaces and the council's reaction. Guaranteed to grab their attention when they get a call from a "national paper"
