Free at last

Handed my Notice in at Work today. Been an Account Manager for a well know IT reseller for many years now. But as Targets get higher and Margins get as low as 1.5% in some cases, And more importantly I earned less than I did last year
I decided that I'd had enough.

I've always bought and sold Cars but over the last few months made a bit more effort and turned a few around quicker than i normally would. I have some good contacts so i'm going to make a go of it.
I'm not totally giving up gainfull employment, I'm going to find a no Brainer Part-time job as this will give me bags more time to do what I need to do through out the week.
Maybe a risk im taking but id rather have a go at it than wonder what could have been.

Mood: is it cos i is a bricklayer
i started me own business 3 years ago- landscape design and construction (patios paths driveways garden features etc) was worried sick that id made the wrong move but was confident of my own abilities am now employing four blokes and got enough work for four monthes with the phone ringing constantly- its been a slog at times but i wouldnt change it for the world the only draw back is i just had to write a cheque for the tax man----i hope he enjoys his brand new 749s with enough change for a ducati one piece leathers!!!!
my advice is go for it, be prepared for hard work and best of luck mate
