haga\'s bike

I went to Harris performance today just to pick up some goodies and Tim (former Tecmoto man) pointed out Haga's WSB sitting in the corner. Drool drool. exhaust pipes big enough to hide in. So many bits to look at, could have done with a tool kit and borrowed a few bits. Its off back to Italy tomorrow, trick bits taken off, normal bits back on then sold to another racing outfit. Harris have been working on the Renagade bikes, there were swing arms all over the place, i found it hard to leave the place. unfortunatly im working round the corner so will probably find myself wandering in there again. oh well.

This is the pic I had....sadly not the bike but 9 of Renegade's Corse factory motors can't me much far behind. I know the workshop who were doing Renegade's engines last year and these were sat there when I took my poorly motor in.

Sadly a Noel Edmunds style "swap-shop" routine remark passed over their heads pretty swiftly.

It's a minefield, this business of buying race bikes. The old addage says the only way to buy someone's race bike is from parc ferme. Once a race bike goes back to a shop, who knows what's what. Bits get taken off left, right and centre. If you buy one of these then you have to have absolute trust in who you're buying it from. And I do speak from experience.

Probably a mute point anyway since no one on this board is likely to buy either, I suspect. Certainly not me.
