A masterful race by Lecuona who at Donington takes the first win of his WorldSBK career after an exciting battle with Bulega (P2)

Iker Lecuona will remember the Saturday of the Prosecco DOC UK Round, the eighth round of the 2026 WorldSBK season, for a long time.

The Spanish rider of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team claimed his first career victory in WorldSBK after an endless battle with teammate Nicolò Bulega.

Lecuona made a strong start, overtaking Bulega at the first corner and resisting his attacks. The final three laps were spectacular, with overtakes and counter-overtakes that ultimately rewarded the number 7.
