He should have been locked up for a few years! See how his law career kicks on after that!

Pennant got the same or more than that didn't he?

Show's that you're better off without a license, insurance, tax etc, if the driver had been law abiding and this had happened he'd of been sent down for several years.

This country really does suck at times! I really feel for the biker

i hope he dies. that is absolutely disgusting. if the victim was a member of my family or a friend the driver would be on seriously borrowed time.

sometimes the alledged justice system is beyond belief.

I don't know exactly when the justice system in this country went haywire, but I just can't comprehend this kinda behaviour - much less this kinda sentencing.

Some years ago a drunk drove into a biker on a flyover down this way - he took his leg clean off. According to witnesses, the drunk got out of his car walked over to the biker, who was lying bleeding (to death, as it turned out) on the road, and gave him a right telling off. Then he picked up the severed leg, threw it off the flyover and drove away.

Can't remember the punishment, but I don't believe it was a prison sentence.
