No. I know some did got a bad press a while back.
I have allways used the ERV2, as recommended by JHP.

andy they gave me an 108 link, way too long, dont know why so need to remove a few links. When I got the chain home un wrapped it only to find no link, they sent one a couple of days later though.

Much better to be too long that not enough. You can position the hub exactly right, cut the chain and away you go!
