Riveting Tsubaki Chain Help ????

Just reading the link about talon sprockets and it mentions the need for a special tool to rivet TSUBAKI chain.

I have just bought a Tsubaki chain from B&C and would welcome any input, I had planned on using my normal rivet tool.

If there is a special TSUBAKI tool how much are they?

Thanks in advance Mike

From memory...I though the Tsubaki chain link is tha same as most others, ie. it needs the pin 'mushrooming' over.

What do the other links on the chain look like, any different from the norm?

I got Ten Kate to do my Tsubaki at Assen - really helpful, however he used a regular chain tool and simply curled (mushrooming) the ends of the pin over the link as normal.
