WoW!!!!

Can I have your autograph please Tony

WoW!!!!

Looked like he'd done the Paris-Dakar by the time he was finished.

Fell on his feet though (although not literally) 'cos he made one of the BSB boys wash the bike down for him....

rally....didnt even get to meet you before your off. very sorry for you. just saw you going off in the car and your bike being taken back later in the day. hope all heels well and you can get out again soon.

if your tyres were warmed up it can only have been putting too much power on too early. its very easy on a 999. i have had a couple of moments at brands where i have put it on a bit heavy handed but got away with it.

dont know what tyres you were on but i now run supercorsa sc1's and sc2's on my 999. imho the best if you are pushing it on a track.

speedy recovery.

my views on the day......

as ever great to meet up with everyone.....

bike went ok but grounding out link pipes and bellypan so need to look at riding style (as ever) and possible suspension mods maybe. first time out on it with race shift/cans/and rearsets and all felt ok.

definitely need to up my speed otherwise in serious risk of ending up last. even got passed by tp! the shame of it! but i will up my game, starting tomorrow at CSS rockingham.

one last word of thanks to the ****er on the R1 who decided to knock into me at surtees as i was turning in and punt me off the track. good experience for the racing to come.

So sorry to hear about this Rally. I'm sure you won't let it deter you. Hope your broken bones mend quickly and your bike isn't too expensive to fix (well wishes can sometimes be pure wishful thinking, of course!)

Dickie, great photos.

Couldnt have asked for a better day to kick the track day season off - great weather, great track, and great company.

Thanks to TP for the space in his luxury race transporter for me and the bike - cheers mate

Took a couple of piccies in the pit garage...
