I usually get my New Era paperwork about 2 weeks before the meeting, they deal with each meeting in turn and with the amount of other meetings they are running amongst their various championships this is the way things have to be done. So its best to try and stay off the phone to them for another week or so.

Finally I booked the trackday organised by the Cadwell cricuit.

It's Friday the 29th of April, £90 for the full day and it saves me to go to Cadwell twice in 2 weeks. I think it's the best way to feel the race temperature for 3 days

A tent and a bike (and a missus...), life will be (almost...) beautiful for 3 days

Booked in for the acu test day on 29th same as Tonio.
Speculation here but I wasn't going to rely on the Sat (maybe) practice just in case race day runs over due to stoppages.

New Era offered us a special practice session at the end of Saturdays races to allow all the DesmoDue riders a 'shakedown' on track before proper practice and racing on Sunday-this assumes that they have time so is not guaranteed.
I spoke to Phil and Jim Parker at Cadwell over Easter and they confirmed that they are snowed under with paperwork since this will be the 7th meeting they have run since 13th March-and two of those are two day events so effectively 9 meetings!

ermm.......all I can say is that I will have a running bike on the grid. It'll be running when Nelly gets it back to me and it won't have moved until the big day. How long it lasts after that is up to the gods!
