as you have allready entered DD it might be worth getting in touch with New Era, if there is still space on the grid they will probably allow you in the SoT race.

I wouldn't worry about it too much, if you ring New Era and tell them you'd like to enter the SOT as well they may send out a form or process it over the phone?

Give it a go.

And what is the SOT race ?
I may call them tomorrow but I have no idea of the kind of bikes which will race in it... my form's gone a long time ago...

Tonio-SOT=Sound of Thunder, which is up to 1000cc singles and twins so a DesmoDue bike fits right in, and in my opinion could be competitive at Cadwell Woodland as the straights are pretty short so not too much space for the bigger bikes to get wound up. Give Phil at New Era a call 01920 444205-he was sorting out the entries when I spoke to him yesterday so you may be able to enter.

SOT won't be for me...
I didn't think the amount of extra money was so high.

I already pay £185 for the practice day and the DD races.
I can't spend £120 more (£95 for the SOT and £25 to become a full New Era member)

It should only be an extra £5 to become a full New Era member - you've already paid £20. So it should be £100.

Hi,

Just spoken to Emma at New Era. The fees are as follows:

Full New Era Members:

Sat £95
Sun £95

Special DD New Era Members:

Weekend 'upgrade' to membership £10
Sat £95
Sun £95

or

Special DD New Era Members:

Permanent 'upgrade' to membership £15
Sat £95
Sun £95

Those that have sent cheques do not need to send another one. New Era will collect the money on the day.

There is still plenty of space in SoT on Saturday. Get in there......

Cheers,

ali
