Even at 6 degrees (most fridges) bacterial growth after 1 week is enough. Put it this way - would you drink 10 day old milk?
I think I know what i'm talking about - I run a company specialising in the manufature and use of bacteria and fungi (also streptomycetes) for use in agriculture...
...but then again I do like a curry, and after a few pint of 'wife-beater' I would probably eat it now and regret it later.
