Cornwall on Thursday?

Anyone within shouting distance of Camelford?. Weather permitting, I'm heading down there on Wednesday. I'm not sure of my itinerary yet for Thurs, but could meet for a coffee during the day.

Deej, thought you might be fairly close, but no problem. Work takes precendence.

I spent a nice afternoon a couple of years ago chilling out on the cliffs at Boscastle. Lovely place.

I've driven that road from Camelford towards Bodmin before, so I'm looking forward to giving it a blast on the bike....

yeah nice road, go from camelford through to wadebridge its much more fun and its been recently resurfaced too but be careful on it. both good roads which ever way you go

another good road if youve got the time is north via bude and from bideford around the coast via porlock/lyntin and lynmouth to minehead and back to tiverton ( i think ) goes beside the river for about 25 miles before ending up back on the m5

how come your down this neck of the woods then ???

stop it Deej, travelling the Atlantic Highway (and its sideroads) are favourite pastimes of ours - we often stay at Welcombe, so know those roads round there well - and also all those over Exmoor & Dartmoor & also the Brendon Hills.
Shame the north Devon link is full of blue lights/cameras, but still a nice road in parts too, on a sunny morning.

Am getting all wistful now, cant wait till this Sept

avoid the north devon link road then !!!!

iw ent upto minehead last august and headed back to dunster, amazing road 20+miles of 90degree bends following the river into exeter, awesome fun !!

exmoor, dartmoor and the brendon hills are lovely areas and well worth a trip, some of the views are amazing

i can also recommend the fish n chips in lynmouth, stunning
