I thought the bostrom was one of the most ugly, non representative paint jobs ever produced. It wasnt any where like the l and m job he really had.

I remember they were the last to go out of the shops, whereas the bayliss rep was snapped up.

As for blue frame and wheels..............

Andy, I think you're missing the point of the Bostrom as it was based on his lid, I'm guessing they couldn't do a race rep as it was tobacco sponsorship at the end of the day?

Might not be to everyone's taste, but you could buy any red duke and infostrada it in 10 minutes, oh look a Bayliss Rep!

Whereas the Bostrom, blue frame, wheels, grips, seat pad, let alone the graphics!

Don't forget there were more Bayliss Reps than Bostroms to boot, so from a rariety point of view I know which one I went for! lol!!!

You're right on the paintwork JP. Andy - the Bostrom and the Bayliss were sold in different ways. The Bayliss was only offered on the internet initially with 300 units but production tooled up for 500. The Bostrom was produced in 3 lots of 155 (his race number) - one set with the 123bhp engine but more carbon-fibre went to USA, the remaining two sets with full power engines but less carbon went to Europe and the rest of the world - so the total number of both bikes is very similar at about 470. The reason the USA got the standard Testastretta (in both bikes) was because the S engine couldn't meet their emmission tests.
