Seems like the RTL rideout could well be oversubscribed in 2012 then?
At least the roads'll be quieter.

I wonder if house prices in and around Londinium will now go ballistic with people buying to rent/

i think no matter which way you slice it it is great for london and england as a whole. i'm not especially into ethletics etc but it really will be a once in a lifetime experience to go and see some of it.

Dickie, totally agree with you. And living close to the south coast I hope the sailing is here. Last week we've had the fleet review and festival of sea down here. Been fantastic, been good for local companies as well.

Good to see finally as a nation we can show the world what a show we can put on. This will knock the RWC in Wales into touch. You're right, once in a lifetime experiance, I'm looking forward to it.

flanks if the sailing is near you, maybe we could do a reciprocal deal on a few nights stay. one stop from mine to stratford so 25 mins door to door.

i'll give you a u2u in 7 years!
