where have all the wasps gone ???

You know we have had some really hot weather for a while now , well iv'e just realised after hearing someone talk about it .
that in all my trips to bury hill, boxhill etc etc so far this year i haven't seen a single wasp .
now some of you who went to bury hill last year around this time will know the place was swarming with them

so where are they this year (not that i want them attacking my ice cream again )

It's me !
I've managed to destroy the nest in the roof before it developed into a metre wide pest factory
Seriously, there have been a lot less of them around here this year, so STOP COMPLAINING

Was having the same conversation last weekend! I have not seen a single one all summer. Have had a problem with them in the past, I went to get something from the loft summer before last and moved some boxes and there it was the biggest nest I have ever seen. I got back down the ladder quicker than I have ever done with the little *******s in hot pursuit luckily they took more interest in the bare light bulb and attacked that instead of me. I rang a pest control bloke and luckily he was only round the corner and was in the loft within 10 minutes killing em all. He said the nest would contain 5 or 6 thousand of the things. Horrible. I am terrified of the things.

They tried last summer to make another nest at the other side of the house but I got some powder and covered their entrance hole and sure enough a day or so later all gone, dead! Kill em all! Do they serve any purpose? Bees I have no problem with, theyre ok.

Dont like rats either. Had one of them living in my loft a few years ago used to keep me awake running around all night. It also ate the ignition leads under the bonnet of my car!

Sorry I,m going on a bit now.

You wait, they'll be back soon enough. When the fruits really ripe on the trees...............watch out, the're drunk and dangerous.

LoL,

Rob
