I'm not going to go over this again:

All 748s - Yellow
All 916 (and family) - Red.

End of discussion.

PS: the yellow is not any old riff raffy yellow alla ferreri etc. It has something to do with the the Bologna flag and we all know where ducati come from.... so IN THEORY yellow is the more 'correct colour'. (Braced for incoming).

Totally agree with you Pants - yellow is the colour to have on a 7 series

My 916Bp now has over 27500 on it has been written off once as a class C, done the odd race meeting and trackday, hooned around the TT course and generally abussed. But does get regular oil, filter and belt changes.

My 748 had 22k on it when I px'ed for a 748R a month back and it was running fine after just completing a mini-blast tour of Froggie race tracks including Magny-Cours, Dijon and Croix. Ran perfectly for 1,700 miles and never missed a beat - I have a R now but still sort of miss my old biposto....we went through lots together

50mm termis are best for a 900, but the gas flow is better for a 750 if you use 45s.
Yes the 50s sound nicer, but they produce a midrange flatspot around 5-6k that varies with whatever injector mapping use.
If you want a full-race setup with the best top-end cos you're not bothereed about 6k performance then different rules apply cos you'll be using different cams too !
