Bad things come in three\'s

Not having a good day at the YMFB household - I am on holiday

07.45 Plumber comes to find leak in ceiling, after several exploratory holes and deep intakes of breath followed by its not going to be easy he left to come back later in the week.

10.30 Took cat to vets for permanent sleeping injection.

17.00 Took to garage to keep out of the way of wife and kids mourning the loss of cat to clean and service my dads flymo, which he has lent me. Stripped and cleaned various parts for an hour filled with fuel started it up and after a few minutes i stopped it to inspect the underneath all looked ok. I re-started it, it then made some funny noises and started to get wild so me and the dog evacuated the back lawn, after putting the dog inside the mower which was going nuts by now made a grinding noise followed by a nasty clonk before finally stopping. On closer inspection the reason it stopped was because it had flung the fuel tank across the lawn and promptly run out of gas. The underneath bit had disintegrated smashing itself to bits and the big plastic body.

Although three bad things had happened i decided to leave the bike where it is and avoid cleaning or riding it for the day.

I hope that you have had a better day than we have.
