Odd really because my home email address is a very closley guarded secret know only to the DSC and a few others.

These are all old scams, we even recieve such ones to our support email address which does not even have an ebay account. If your email address has ever been posted on an internet site or if anyone with yoiur email in their address book has picked up a spyware or virus program, then your email address will have been made avaialbe to others over the internet, spiders crawl websites and select email addresses we are often offerd 50,000 email address for something like 50 dollars so that we can spam people with adverts of our software ( we dont do this ) but there are plenty that do, these ebay scammers are exactly the same.
