Helmet cleaning

After getting a new Rx7 Corsair Arai at the NEC " i thought might as well clean the old one "

After a bit of research used some baby shampoo in the shower & bloomin heck did some amount of brown water come out of it and dead flys that i missed whilst wipping it down

So for all you people doing a winter project , Add clean helmet to the list ,cause you clean the bike weekly but when was the last time you cleaned your helmet

You can get a proper helmet cleaner solution. Its a dry foam. only a few quid. I use it at work................

Thought about that ,but if its like the seat shampoo for cars then its not deep cleaned like the baby shampoo & shower method

Yes wet inside /shampoo then rinse & rinse again ,for a fresh helmet
