new to this site and dukes , so I've probably got a lot to learn from you wise old owls here.

Have noticed a lot of probs with duke dealers etc, any buying tips on 916 bikes and possible pitfalls.

Tips for buying a 916...

a) If your buying with your head see part c.
b) If your buying on credit see part d
c) Buy one with your heart not your head.
d) buy the latest model (996/998) you can afford!

If all else fails...and you are blind...buy a 749/999.

Not many probs with dealers, its just those who do have a prob are quick to voice opinion here, but as the board only accounts for a small amount of members its not necessarily a good representation.
