Van Buying Advice ?

I was told there are some fleet manager type folk amongst us so I'm after van advice, my 70k mile old VW LT has just gone bang clatter clatter stop, awaiting verdict but it's not going to be good
So I'm after a new van. It needs to be big enough for 2 bikes and all race gear and tow a caravan. Have upto £9k but the cheaper thebetter. Seen brand new Peugeot boxers for £8500 with 3 yrs warranty, also been recommended Transits and plenty of them at 2 yrs old and £6000.
I won't have another VW and I know 3 people that have had similar fates with their sprinters. We did have a trafic that did 60k with no probs so if I hear good reports of the Renault master it's another ?

So anyone got any good van buying advice ?

I know it doesn't help you but, my ancient Renault Trafic cost £150 on EBay and has just reached 160k miles Unfortunately, it's unbelievably slow.

And when are you gonna tell me abt that frame repair?

ive tried the transit, not enough power, got a merc sprinter,cd311.pulls like a train,no cam belt to worry about as its chain. they not cheap though but they hold the money well,4metre length.many used have over 100,000 miles,no problem with service history.

By the way....you have to service vans just like Ducati's. If you look after any engine properly especially a diesel, it should last you a lifetime. You might want to wash it it occasionally as well when the mood takes you.

Wouldn't bother with any carbon for the van...thats just stupid
