aka.eric - order the crankcase protector thing from JHP - not in stock but promised by Monday. 14 quid or thereabouts

BTW, it was a DID chain, the replacement will not be!

Just spoken to JHP, they are ordering 20 as result of the calls received from this thread.

Why was this not fitted as standard?

JHP have just called me, Ducati in their infinite wisdom have discontinued the chain protector.
