I had great plans of sorting mine out over the winter, maybe getting a PC3, dyno setup etc, instead I've done nothing to it since I got it off Tonio, mainly because it seemed to work fine when I tested it at Donny before xmas. If it aint broke ...
I'll service it (check valves and change belts, oils, filters etc) in the next week or two, when it warms up abit
I have done absoloutely nothing since I returned from the last round at Cadwell other than remove the transponder and battery. Tomorrow I will get the bike out of the back of the van where it has been since our last DD meeting, only because I need to make room in there for another bike. Got Silverstone GP Booked on the 12th, like Chris I enjoy the GP circuit, don't like the other circuits there. Will check the bike over a day or two before the trackday, fresh fuel, check tyre pressures, oil and filter change, charge the battery and refit it. No intention of doing anything else before the trackday, once that is out of the way I will be looking at swapping the fairing to a black one and fitting the Yellow number boards. And that will be me ready for Cadwell. Probably do most of the Silverstone GP trackday on the 996 (or possibly a bike I don't have yet)
