Car buying question

Ok am looking at buying an MX5 prob from dealer (all i have seen are imports) or private , has anyone had any experience of these ? any good or bad things to look out for ?

cheers
nigel c

I have only just got a car again so only have a few months ncb (but have had 2 years before but lost that) am i likely to be screwed with insurance ?

Ive sold a few of them, Great cars with top Smiles per gallon. Very rarely go wrong and shouldnt rust. If Insurance is an issue go for UK MX-5 not imported Eunos. Although the Euno's do have Aircon E/windows and PAS and UK dont.
Also you will notice that most Euno's have v low mileage ie 40k on a 10 year old car... Yeah right, more like been clocked at the Docks
Anyway a very enjoyable and chuckable-aroundable car to drive.
My mate has a black P reg MX-5 forsale £3k

Oi! and thats coming from someone with a barge parked in his drive

It happens to be a sweet handling sportscar i'll have u know:P

maybe i'll get a yellow one just to p*** a few people off

Just had a thought if it was RED it'd be even more of a hairdressers car
