Any Surveyors, Civil Engineers etc. on here ??

Hi all

just wondering if there were any Land Surveyors, Civil Engineers, basically survey equipment users, etc. on here ??

thought I might as well try mixing business & pleasure so to speak, could do with some leads & its always better to talk to people with similar "outta work" interests

Graham

Surveyors Outing ???!!

Fellow Survey Equipment users !

Fancy a trip to JHP Ducati Coventry ???

Why not combine it with a trip to "World Of Geomatics Exibition"

29th and 30th March 2006

Stoneleigh Park

near Coventry, Warwickshire

Means you can drop into JHP on the way home/there !!! (I will be !!)

and most importantly, you can come and amuse me on our exhibition stand !!!!!

There are two "surveyors" making their surveying way through our building this week - both from Czechoslovkia and not the best of english speakers.
Still, they seem to be excited by putting masking tapes marks on floor.
Ho-hum.

They can't be very good surveyors if they can't read a map or tell the difference between Cheshire and Czechoslavakia.

Might have been confused because they both begin with "Chuh" I suppose

The tapes on the floor all have "NO STEP PLEASE" on them, but everytime they aren't around guess what.....some plonker intentionally steps on em. Oh how I wanna stick a non-ferrous detonator under one of em.
