Has anybody got an xk or xk-r or xk8 Jaguar that they would be prepared to lend out for a day(with cash your way of course!!).It's my Good ladies birthday in three weeks, and she has dreamed of having a go in one of these since they were introduced.I have tried to hire one,to no avail ,so am looking to you people to help me out.

Any help welcome.Thanks.

Jasp, have you tried Enterprise in York? I know they did premium cars including the Jag you're after.

No XKR but an XJR - better car IMHO from a drivers point of view.

Smooth as Heidi Klum's buttocks and limited to 155 unfortunately. Sharp as a tack with great brakes - 0- 60 around 5 secs - about 370BHP lurverly

I agree, have had my XJR for 4 years now (by far the longest I have kept a car) I remember reading an article where Johnny Herbert (F1 driver) had been given both the XJ and XK when he drove for Jaguar, he did say he preferred the XJR as it handled better! The new XK8 looks very nice though.
