DSC Constitution and EGM

I recall from the AGM in February that the new club constitution was required to be put before an Extra-ordinary General Meeting of the club this September. Any new on this?

One of the reasons I left the club was over my concerns that the MT would try and drown this change as it would try and address some of the very real issues raised at the AGM so naturally I'm very interested in the outcome.

Don't give your membership otherwise you're not entitled to ask pertinent questions at the AGM.

I've been told that the new constitution will go out with Pronto for review by the membership who will be asked to vote on it. As production of Pronto is inexcusabily unreliable this year then God only knows when that will be.

The main reason the Evo Group pushed for a new constitution is not, as detailed elsewhere, because the club has gown to a major enterprise. It is because there is an urgent need to introduce accountability for the MT of this club. If the new constitution does not address that key issue - and although I haven't seen it I fear it will not - then it will be down to the membership to decide how they want to proceed.

How funny is that post

I normally give people the benefit of the doubt but I'm afraid after a few PM's came over the wall from the ****wit's on the MT otherwise known to me as **** **** paranoid androids then I thought I might as well give me money to a worthy cause.
Air Ambulance is now benefitting from me dosh.

Well done Ray, i have a dark confession to make, my mileage on the 996 has dropped massively this year, but thats because i've done nearly 8,000 miles so far on the KTM, plus a few on the 450 as well.

I was scared of reports that Ducati's can't do the mileage.................

I'm going to have to clock mine FORWARD to keep up with you. Did anyone from MCN ever get back to you after that post on the board about 998/stretta engined bikes?

Is this really a technical problem??

I fear that trying to contact "God" for guidance for the date of posting for the next Pronto might not appease the atheist element! I suggest trying a church local to you if this is still a technical problem!

If that doesn't work trying working with the facts not if, but if, and maybes.

A committment to get the draft out with the next Pronto has been made. Delivery or non delivery on that will be a fact that comes to be in the future.

I'm sure the members will give the draft constitution due consideration when they have seen it and won't try to second guess its content before then unless of course they want to try and practice seeing into the future! If anyone can see in to the future please contact me as soon as possible with Tonights lottery numbers

An air ambulance is indeed a worthy cause, it's not something I would like to make use of myself so as well as helping out the two local to me I also like to spend some money on something I know I'm going to use in a positive context, me DSC membership fee.

BDG, somebody did call me about stuff for the 998 article Angie took the call as I was driving at the time, said thay would call back in 15 mins but never did, never mind I prefer to do radio interviews now!!. Henners spookily enough gave them some info. Possibly along the lines of how easy they are to buy and sell!! I shouldn't second guess what he said though but wait for the article

Ray.
