Re-packing a carbon can..?

Hi guys

I'm awaiting delivery of a carbon can which (I'm told) needs re-packing with 'wool' before it can be used. Anyone know where I might find a supplier of the stuff I need to do the job? (It's not a Termignoni)

Also, if I use it prior to doing this job, will the carbon sleeve be damaged by the heat?

Any of the race suppliers can sell you this. Try Alan Russell at A&R Racing (google it). Tell him Nige Wright sent you.

JHP can supply repacking kits for Arrow cans. I 'cooked' one of my sleeves by using it when it needed repacking - it gets too hot and recures the resin, it makes it go brown.
