Moto Uno are in the next village to me. I looked at a VFR800 of his last year and after inspecting the bike didn't buy it as the head races were notchy and needed replacement, something he knew about but I had to find out for myself. The advert also said full service history but on inspection that was not the case. He didn't inspire my trust.
If you ask for the belts to be changed Bernard will do that for you. I have also used the guy Moto uno use for pre sales service, he worked for Moto Rapido for some years on the spanners and does know Ducatis well. I can give you he name and mobile if you think that will help.

Just a small point but this guy has NEVER worked for Moto Rapido.
There may be some crossed wires there somewhere, or you're being lied to.
