Lightbulb Winter projects ?

so with the short days looming round the corner. what have those who don't use there bikes all year round got planed.
I still want to do some engine work to eak out a few more ponies. not that I think the bike needs them, Just nice to have.
Any one painting there frame or just sprinkling some carbon bling.

Bob is now officially off the road and once we come back from Spain I plan to try and take off the bits I can and give him a thorough cleaning and inspection.

If I get chance I am planning to get all bodywork painted up and fit some of the extras that I have here that have not made it onto the bike yet.

Other than that as we now have fun road bikes I reckon I will be out riding

I've got to put a new crank into my 350 racer
The timing side gear came off and chewed up the end.

As you know Keith - the R carries on through the winter months but I do intend to get it on the lift and give it its annual clean very soon!

Looks like some exposed nuts and bolts will need replacing as well as three winters use hasn't been kind to the old girl

I plan to take the 748 apart, get the frame & wheels painted and put it back together replacing bearings here and there. I'm fortunate in that it won't stop me riding one of the others

Finish the twinspark project ready for next years trackdays, I may even get to have the left side fairing lower on the ST4S repaired from where I cracked it-in 2004................it's still got my 'temporary' duct tape repair on it.

998 is getting a front end upgrade with the 748R ohlins forks getting replaced with the Road and Track versions, a set of pfm narrow track discs and 6-pot calipers are also to be added, still debating on fitting the Mag yokes or the Billet Bottom and getting a Billet top yoke to suit.

Hopefully will find the time and space to start building up the 955 Corse

Anybody fancy a Minimeet in Oxfordshire in late March early April to show off there winter handywork and kick off the 2007 season.
