Tank dented, bar, fairing, levers, exhaust etc.
Broken wrist mangled hat.

3 Castle Combe June 11th DD.Warm up lap oil cooler splits down back straight.First left hander at Bobbys chicane and down she go,s.
Oil cooler and pride.

4.Donington August 12th Trackday.Ran into gravel watching for aeroplanes on warm up lap.Ran into Coppice gravel and fell over at 2mph.Scratched newly fixed and painted fairing.

5.Donington August 13th DD.3rd lap of qualifying very wet lock front brake into Redgate.Slide lasted 50 feet honest. Okay about an inch then.Ran straight on into Redgate gravel.Didn,t even fall over marshall complements me on neet parking next to fence.

Not quite the same.

Went to Wales to do some off road training, the guys said you would fall off, I thought NO WAY, I'm a decent mountain biker and I'm ok at offroad stuff.......yes way!
Fortunately they were the comedy fall off at 0 mph on a bend as the front wheel dug in and generally then fell in a bush.

Lightbulb

I had a little slide at Paddock Hill during a DD race at Brands
Prior to that I'd tried to lean on Senna3 a bit too much in Hall Bends at the DD race at Cadwell and needed to polish out a few scratches

1. Donington August 13th: Second ever race meeting. Qualified a stunning second in the wet. Come race time I'm poorly off the grid and bottled it with bikes going past me on both sides into Redgate. Forgot to turn. Into gravel at about 2mph and bike falls over. Kick gravel. Kick bike. Kick self.

2. Cadwell ParK October 8th. Stuck in traffic during qualifying. Oil flags out at the Hairpin for first couple of laps. Oil flags dissapear. Coming into Hairpin Kev Mooney takes inside line, I take outside. Turning in, a cr@p I'm going to hit him. Touch front brake and wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. So that's what it feels like to have an almost proper crash on the race track.

Nothing on the road so far and I commute every day. So hold thumbs it stays that way.

1) Assen Last chicane before checkered flag met Butch at the entrance end up on my Head in the Gravel. No Damage
2) Donnington Chicane before the start finish straight in timed practice, dragged brake on a wet line, you'll never guess what happened .......
new foot rest, paracetamol and imodium required
3) Snetterton (horrible place) dry practice, 2nd lap of the day get knee down (unusual), everything else follows 50ft on my butt again, new brake lever, foot rest, more Paracetamol and a bollocking from the wife...

New helmets 3

Donny TD - Up towards coppice. notice tiny weeny child on GP80 doing 3mph at apex. Decide I'd feel guilty for rest of life if I killed the nipper so grab handful of brake and watch bike somersualt. Lands upside down. Buried so deep in the gravel I can only see a few red bits!

Donny Qualy - Decide I want pole, ride faster every lap until front lets go at Macleans. Slide on bum and watch bike somersault (again...) into the gravel. Lands upside down.

No DNFs this year.

Grif you've definitely inherited my Dr Crash nickname from last year. Sure you'll keep her upright more next year.

A numb brain, cold tyres and a slippery roundabout did for me at the beginning of the season. Side fairing, nose cone, screen, rear fairing, levers, brake reservoir, mudguard, forks, lower fork yoke, I forget what else ... at least my leathers were repairable.

Not a lot of fun I don't think my confidence really returned all year.

Here's to next year, though!
