Blimey - thanks everyone for the feedback and links - much appreciated - now gone right off the idea - will wait to see a HypoMo in the flesh.

I had one, only bike I've ever owned that I really miss.
If I was looking for another I'd look for a S2R 1000 as I think that the 2 valve engine suits the Monster character better than the 4 valve, also has the added bonus of reduced service costs
